This talented duo teamed up to create beautiful, one of a kind bracelets featuring Lauren's favorite sign for "I Love You". Each bracelet was created with a unique set of colors, stones and beading, but they all included a beautiful, handcrafted wire symbol in American sign language, which means " I Love You". You can see more of the designs and handcrafted jewelry at 5dogdesigns.etsy.com. Thank you Sue and Regina for donating your time and talents!

Connetquot Foundation for the Advancement of Children
CFAC supported Lauren´s First and Goal by hosting Patrice as a guest author at their second annual Literacy Luau. Even though the event needed to be rescheduled from its original date in early November because of Hurricane Sandy, many families came out to celebrate literacy in the community and in turn, supported LFG by purchasing copies of Hope is Here to Stay. James helped his mom and shared his hand-made awareness ribbons with children who visited the table to learn about the LFG story.

C-Quest 5th Graders of the Connetquot Central School District
The program supported Lauren´s First and Goal by hosting Patrice for an author´s visit. Students had the opportunity to examine the LFG website after the presentation enjoying the many videos, photos and articles online. Students are learning about harnessing the power of technology and working on writing feature articles. One C-Quester decided to chose LFG as the topic of his feature article. We're looking forward to reading your work!

Lafayette College Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) Fun Run
This year, members of SAAC changed up their benefit for LFG by organizing a Fun Run around campus. Special thanks to committee leader, Sarah Frohnapfel for spearheading their efforts. We loved the enthusiasm of members of the men's swim team, who braved the windy spring weather and ran the loop around campus in their speedos, helping to raise over $1000 for LFG.

Muhlenberg Football Lift-A-Thon
For several years, Muhlenberg coaches have volunteered at the annual LFG camp. More than 50 returning Mule players participated in a lift-a-thon to raise money, soliciting donors to pledge an amount for every pound lifted in the bench, clean and squat. Muhlenberg players and coaches presented a check for over $5000 to Lauren and Marianne when they visited.

Led by the Andreassi family, this generous and dedicated group of volunteers once again donated all of the proceeds from their delicious concession stand at the PA football camp to the foundation. Watching them all in action on camp day is a true demonstration of love in action, and the sausage and pepper heros are a coveted commodity for sure!

Tracy Elementary School Staff Club
Teachers and staff from Tracy Elementary, Lauren's much loved elementary school, once again designated LFG as the recipient of their dress down Friday fund. We are very thankful to these wonderful teachers and staff members for their continued support.
