Helping families who are battling childhood cancer
Please refer to the COACHES link to the right to view the list of coaches who volunteered at the 2018 camp. We will post the roster of coaches volunteering for the 2019 camp a few days prior to the camp date as the list changes daily. If you have a question about a specific coach or staff prior to the posting of the list, please ask them directly.
Lauren's First and Goal Football Camp
Lauren’s First and Goal Football Camp is a one-day instructional clinic presented by Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania. The 2019 camp will be held on Sunday, June 2. The camp is staffed by volunteer college coaches from across the country and all divisions. It is the largest one-day camp in the country, with over 325 college coaches donating their time and talents.
The player to coach ratio is better than 8:1. Players are grouped by position and class year, and alternate between offensive and defensive drills and skills throughout the day. Players may also elect to work with the kicking specialist coaches for the day, or alternate between kicking and another position.
The camp is not a combine – there is no height/weight measurements, no timed run, etc. It is an opportunity to learn, improve skills, showcase talents, experience being coached by college coaches and be exposed to the opportunities to continue one’s career as a student athlete at the college level. ALL proceeds from the camp benefit pediatric brain tumor research and cancer services.
Please see the links to the right to view the coaching list from 2018, schedule for the day, travel info and other pertinent information.
Players who are CURRENTLY in 8th through 11th grade are eligible to attend each year. 12th graders (2019 graduates) who are attending a post graduate year (prep school) are also eligible.
Parents and high school coaches are welcome to attend the camp to observe for the day, and to bring items such as camp chairs, sun shelter, coolers, etc. to make themselves comfortable for the day.
Registration fees are not refundable. The camp goes on rain or shine. If you register, and then cannot attend, your registration fee can be claimed as a tax deductible donation to Lauren's First and Goal Foundation as per IRS guidelines.
Camp is open to any and all participants.

LFG Skills & Drills Manual
Football coaches everywhere will benefit from the same techniques used by top college and professional teams that are featured in the Manual of Football Drills and Skills, released by Lauren’s First and Goal Foundation in May 2011.
Manual of Football Drills and Skills is designed to provide coaching ideas from the best in the profession while increasing awareness of pediatric brain tumors and raising funds to help find a cure. All of the material, including drills for game-management, strength and conditioning, offense, defense and special teams, was contributed by more than 130 volunteer coaches from Division I, II and III and the professional ranks.
